Mega Z Red - Super Dope (CA)
The mega disappointment continues but fortunately ends here with Mega Z Red. This one is the most frustrating to not meet my expectations because OZK is one of my favorite genetics of all time, and this one does not hit the heights I would expect from such a legendary genetic.

Gary Payton - High Road
I got to try High Road’s Gary Payton as flower a number of years ago as flower, and while they mostly don’t run it anymore as flower, it’s still kicking around as flower from other top producers in Maine. Recently I also had their Cereal Milk rosin, the same cross but the #18 pheno rather than the #20 pheno, which was like crushed berries in acetone, which is one of my favorite flavors of the year.

Mega Z Dark - Super Dope (CA)
Mega Z Dark was another one that I tried during the previous rosin saga, and unfortunately it’s another one that just doesn’t hold up. This performance is frankly more expected because washing Zoap is more an art than a science, and they didn’t exactly have it dialed in before.

Mega Z Blue - Super Dope (CA)
Back a couple of years ago when Super Dope was at their peak popularity, Mega Z Blue was one of the most sought after flavors in the country. It was a strong translation of the tissue culture Z cut, and I’m sad to report this flavor just doesn’t hold up. Don’t get me wrong, this is still solid smoke with strong effects, but my standards for Z hybrids are higher than most casual smokers will get in their life, and this sample did not meet them.

Bubblegum Popperz - Super Dope (CA)
Bubblegum Popperz used to have the reputation for being the runt of the lineup, and not just because of the genetics, being a cut labeled “LA Runtz.” Super Dope is back in business with this rosin that is a complete 180º and an easy recommendation from the lineup. That could be the end of the review right there, but this also might be one of the best Runtz rosins I’ve seen to date.

Lemon Popperz - Super Dope (CA)
The last go-around with Super Dope’s Rosin, Lemon Popperz was the one that I couldn’t ever get my hands on. Probably because the wash numbers were quite low, there always seemed to be fewer jars of the Lemon Popperz per drop, and to that end I never tried Gelonade as rosin until earlier this year.

Cherry Popperz - Super Dope (CA)
Now that we’ve covered the new additions to the Super Dope lines, let’s bring it back to where it started with Cherry Popperz. We can talk about the branding a different time, but the headline with this batch is that it’s on a whole new level of quality than before and it’s something you just gotta try to believe.

Mega Z Emerald - Super Dope (CA)
Mega Z Emerald is another one of the newer Super Dope flavors that I hadn’t gotten to try, and boy am I glad I finally did, thanks to District Chiefer. Emerald hit the scene about a year and a half ago with an immense amount of fanfare following it’s Miron batch debut.

Strawberry Meltshake - Trichomies
Hash nerds have been going crazy over Pure Melt’s Strawberry Meltshake for a few years now, and having only tried it once before, I had a bit of a hard time understanding it. This version from Trichomies is definitely the best version of it I’ve tried and it’s a pretty strong offering overall.

Party Popperz - Super Dope (CA)
It’s been a good long while since I’ve covered Super Dope in my reviews and the first time I’m covering Party Popperz, but thankfully District Chiefer came through with all the new Super Dope releases. This strain was originally a collab with Doja Pak of Runtz x Blumosa, originally intended to be Blue Gatorade, and the branding is sort of a crossover of all the characters from the Popperz series.

Pie Dough - Terpy Dabber house rosin Tier 1
I always love trying stores’ house tiers and house brands, but Terpy Dabber’s house rosin brand has always been surprisingly fire. Like I’ve said before, buying that multi-jar rate is the best way to get value with these flavors, but there’s a good chance you’re going to be smoking them fast enough to need them.

Sour Taffy - 710 Labs (CO)
Last time we covered a jar of 710 Labs Persy Badder, and thanks to Richi at the Highway, I was also able to get a sample of Colorado rosin to compare it to. 710 Labs has sort of a different load out in California than they do in Colorado, but when Richi showed off the Sour Taffy in the selection I knew I had to get some because the ABF Genetics and Symbiotic Genetics collab of Sour Sam x Gassy Taffy was just too hype to pass up.

SB36 #1 - 710 Labs (CA)
The next two reviews I want to cover 710 Labs products from two different states. This SB36 is a 90µ Persy Badder, otherwise known as cold cure live rosin. The black jars are the top of the line jars above all the tiers in California and this jar is one of the flagship strains in their library.

Papaya - Trichomies
I’ve gone on record a bunch of times as kind of a Papaya hater, but even for me there are some samples of it that are just undeniable. I think it’s more common to see people hating on GMO the way I dislike Papaya, and the biggest reason I don’t like it is because the effect is either too sedative or too racy for me.

UK Cheese - High Seas 207
I’ve been seeing murmurs that UK cheese was making a comeback and frankly I kind of wrote those rumors off as being overblown. But with TenCo coming out with Cheesebanger and Elm Cultivation running a whole line of Cheese hybrids, I decided to tune into the Cheese channel and was given this sample of UK Cheese from High Seas 207.

Zangria x Gelonade - Trichomies
I got to try the Zangria x Gelonade hybrid the first time about a year and a half ago as Fruit Stand from B’s Trees, but this is the first time I’ve gotten to try it as rosin thanks to Beast Coast Terps out of Queens. I’ve always appreciated that this hybrid had killer potency and a complex effects and together with a killer lemon grease flavor makes for something that ought to be center ring for a while.

Cranberry Z - Michelin Terps
Trying award winning hash is always a pleasure, but trying award winning jam diamonds from a brand from Massachusetts, the debut for that state in any of my reviews, has got to be one of the biggest ESPN stat moments I’m publishing yet. Another one from the ADHDDEAD 420 celebrations, Cranberry Z is one that I’ve tried in hyrids a couple of times but this I think is also the first time I’ve tried it on its own.

MurdaBand - Misty’s Melts
Of all the things I’ve been hype to smoke so far this year, MurdaBand is at the top of my list, or at least it was until I tried it. MurdaBand is a hybrid of MattaBand x Sowahh bred by Flavor Farming and has been blown up by everyone in the Flavor Farming squad, including this prime spec rosin from Misty’s Melts. Ever since I smelled the flower for the first time in December, I was in love with the way it burned my nostrils, which is what I appreciate from any Sour line strain.

Z From the Vault - Helios Hash x ADHDDEAD
ADHDDEAD usually tees up some hype collaborations for his events, but maybe the most impressive one to date both in spectacle and quality is Z From the Vault with Helios Hash. What’s outside the jar from Justin Lovato and myself is barely a preview of how sick the rosin on the inside is

Biscotti Chunks - Terpy Dabber house rosin Tier 1
Terpy hooked it up with some of the new house rosin he’s carrying to get a bit of feedback, and I’m happy to report that it’s very good. I got to try Biscotti Chunks, which ended up being some grape terps that really hit the spot. It’s a Cannarado jawn, this time Biscotti Sundae x Fatso and it’s mostly grape candy and funk.
