Blueberry Sour (Rosin) - Misty’s Melts
Generally when I see something from ABF Genetics, my hype factor goes way up, so when I see one of my favorite hash producers running something from one of my favorite breeders, my ears immediately perk up. Blueberry Sour is a selection from ABF’s (Blueberry Kush x Chemdog Sour Diesel), with the pollen donor being Chem D x Sour Diesel from Reservoir Seeds. I guess I didn’t know what I expected diving into this sample, but the flavor is more complex than even I imagined. When you huff the jar, you get this really strong funk note upfront but with more of a chocolatey crushed dry berries and diesel on the back, a lá Gorilla Glue. As with all of Misty’s releases the rosin is clean and strong, to the point where you don’t have to make a trade off between flavor and effect. Beyond the cornucopia of flavors, the effects are intense with an impressive peak. The gas and diesel signal that this strain is better for an afternoon/night time smoke, but the strength doesn’t translate exactly to sedation and it’s not racy either. Among the community that smokes a lot of Misty’s drops, this was got hyped quite a bit and in my opinion it doesn’t let you down. Overall, I think Misty absolutely crushed Blueberry Sour in all its forms and I can’t wait to try it again. Jane Doe Deliveries stays getting excellent drops, and this is certainly one of them.
