Cherry Popperz - Super Dope (CA)
Now that we’ve covered the new additions to the Super Dope lines, let’s bring it back to where it started with Cherry Popperz. We can talk about the branding a different time, but the headline with this batch is that it’s on a whole new level of quality than before and it’s something you just gotta try to believe. Last time I had a jar of this was a couple years ago, and thew flavor just wasn’t there. Convention wisdom would suggest that a strain that tastes super fire as flower would also be a great idea for hash, and for some reason with a lot of Sherb line hybrids that’s not the case, so the bas wash numbers don’t make it worth it to run as hash. Cherry Popperz is the Amarena De Limon cut of Lemon Cherry Gelato which is thought to be a Gelato S1 or a Sherb x Runtz hybrid. As flower, Cherry Popperz is known for being textbook candy with a super saturated funky cherry candy flavor, and this is no different as rosin. The hash is also super smooth and clean, just a strong concentration of the this LCG cut in general. The potency on this one is solid, basically the same slump and lean you expect from a Lemon Cherry, but it definitely hits a lot faster off a dab. The margin of error on temperature is also reasonably wide, unlike some of the Mega Z jars which makes dabbing this a joy. Overall, I think Cherry Popperz might be the strongest flavor of this Super Dope run, which is a huge glow up from before when it was the least sought after if not the worst jar in the past.
