SB36 #1 - 710 Labs (CA)
The next two reviews I want to cover 710 Labs products from two different states. This SB36 is a 90µ Persy Badder, otherwise known as cold cure live rosin. The black jars are the top of the line jars above all the tiers in California and this jar is one of the flagship strains in their library. SB36 was originally listed as Starburst 36 and it’s a hybrid of Starburst OG x KC36, but 710 Labs has to retire the original name after a cease and desist from Mars Candy. The original name for this strain is perfect though, with an aroma that hits the palate in the way of a mango Starburst with a lot of extra astringency. The flavor is exactly the same as the nose putting mango candy right on the palate and staining it with gas notes. What really shocked me is how potent this strain was and how stimulating the effects were. Starburst OG is already quite potent but in a more streamlined sedative way, so I expected the addition of the KC36 to lighten the effects the way it lightens the flavor. Overall, this is not only a strong offering from 710 Labs but it’s an excellent offering from California’s hash scene in general. It’s super clean, super stimulating and super flavorful at a ticket that is just right for this type of top shelf offering.
