Lemon Tree x Nigerian Haze - Honeylog Caregivers
Normally Lemon Tree x Nigerian Haze is not a strain I would spring for, but knowing Honeylog’s quality control I knew I couldn’t just write it off as some mids from the dep field. Generally I avoid Lemon Tree hybrids because they have a really pissy aftertaste and a heavy crash on the end of it, but I don’t find either of these things in the hybrid, despite the overwhelming Lemon Tree expression in the aroma.

Papaya - Trichomies
I’ve gone on record a bunch of times as kind of a Papaya hater, but even for me there are some samples of it that are just undeniable. I think it’s more common to see people hating on GMO the way I dislike Papaya, and the biggest reason I don’t like it is because the effect is either too sedative or too racy for me.

Apples & Bananas x Zoap - Topshelf Network
Apple Banana Zoap was originally released as seeds by LIT Farms. In 2025, both of these genetics are out of vogue, but Top Shelf Network certainly found a great selection of this hybrid for their operation. It’s got a bit of the Flintstones’ vitamin terp you’re used to from Apples & Bananas but there’s also a good bit of Tide Pod and sherb bite in the flavor as well.

UK Cheese - High Seas 207
I’ve been seeing murmurs that UK cheese was making a comeback and frankly I kind of wrote those rumors off as being overblown. But with TenCo coming out with Cheesebanger and Elm Cultivation running a whole line of Cheese hybrids, I decided to tune into the Cheese channel and was given this sample of UK Cheese from High Seas 207.

Skullcandy - Turkey Bag Tom
Turkey Bag Tom has impressed often in the past in his searches of large northern California facilities, surfacing hidden gems the often have overstock or get overlooked. In the past, he especially impressed me with his Cherry Moonshine and his curation of Tea Time and he’s also managed to find some of the best value crops of OG in NorCal. A lot of this stuff has shown up on other menus with other names, namely Don Merfos and Wizard Trees, and I suspect Skullcandy is the same deal.

Papaya Marshmallow - Honeylog Caregivers
Going into this review, I didn’t know much about this offering, but I’ve been following Honeylog Caregivers' for years now and I’ve become very familiar with the type of pressure they purvey. So I decided to take a new approach to this and take the brand new offering at face value with little expectations.

Zangria x Gelonade - Trichomies
I got to try the Zangria x Gelonade hybrid the first time about a year and a half ago as Fruit Stand from B’s Trees, but this is the first time I’ve gotten to try it as rosin thanks to Beast Coast Terps out of Queens. I’ve always appreciated that this hybrid had killer potency and a complex effects and together with a killer lemon grease flavor makes for something that ought to be center ring for a while.

Gaslight - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation
Over the last year or so we’ve gotten a handful of LIT Farms options on the budget section of Shmu’s menu, but Gaslight is probably the best one so far. Gaslight is a hybrid if RS11 x E85 and it’s similar to the original RS11 but with a bit more confectionary nose and flavor rather than the deep candy funk.

Cranberry Z - Michelin Terps
Trying award winning hash is always a pleasure, but trying award winning jam diamonds from a brand from Massachusetts, the debut for that state in any of my reviews, has got to be one of the biggest ESPN stat moments I’m publishing yet. Another one from the ADHDDEAD 420 celebrations, Cranberry Z is one that I’ve tried in hyrids a couple of times but this I think is also the first time I’ve tried it on its own.

MurdaBand - Misty’s Melts
Of all the things I’ve been hype to smoke so far this year, MurdaBand is at the top of my list, or at least it was until I tried it. MurdaBand is a hybrid of MattaBand x Sowahh bred by Flavor Farming and has been blown up by everyone in the Flavor Farming squad, including this prime spec rosin from Misty’s Melts. Ever since I smelled the flower for the first time in December, I was in love with the way it burned my nostrils, which is what I appreciate from any Sour line strain.

G.R.E.A.M. - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation
G.R.E.A.M. is a hybrid of Lil Valley OG and the aforementioned WUG, with the OG seemingly a cut of OG from Washington. It’s similar to things like TK41 or Gushers in that it’s candy over confectionary gas in the aroma and flavor. The nugs are large and dense and the sample came solidly fresh, which translates well to a smooth smoking experience.

Z From the Vault - Helios Hash x ADHDDEAD
ADHDDEAD usually tees up some hype collaborations for his events, but maybe the most impressive one to date both in spectacle and quality is Z From the Vault with Helios Hash. What’s outside the jar from Justin Lovato and myself is barely a preview of how sick the rosin on the inside is

207 Headband - Best Friend Farms
207 Headband by Best Friend Farms has been something of a Maine legend the last couple years, and for whatever reason it’s just completely eluded my headstash. Hash on the Hudson heard my cries for heat and hooked it up with this sample, and it was totally worth the wait.

Chem 91 x TK - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation
Chem 91 x TK is something gas lovers will salivate over while the odor burns in the nostrils, and the pungency is directly correlated with the outright potency. Even smaller doses of this cultivar is enough for a noticeable head change but regular doses are bound to leave even serious smokers heavy eyed and brain-fried.

Cherry Pomelo - Nebula Gardenz
If this sample is a prime example of the rest of their lineup, then we have a serious situation. Cherry Pomelo seems to be a cut of Cherry Biscotti, which if I remember correctly is LCG x Biscotti, and boy does this stuff stink.

Moonbow - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation
One major complaint a lot of folks have about original Z is that it doesn’t really have a lot of power and that is clearly not the case with this Moonbow. The potency is punishing and much more sedative than the average Zkittlez. It’s no secret I’m a bonafide Z lover, but generally I’ve found it tough to find affordable Z hybrids, and this checks a lot of those boxes

Biscotti Chunks - Terpy Dabber house rosin Tier 1
Terpy hooked it up with some of the new house rosin he’s carrying to get a bit of feedback, and I’m happy to report that it’s very good. I got to try Biscotti Chunks, which ended up being some grape terps that really hit the spot. It’s a Cannarado jawn, this time Biscotti Sundae x Fatso and it’s mostly grape candy and funk.

Açaí Berry Gelato 49 - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation
If you’re familiar with the story of Gelato, you remember that there are about six cuts of them floating around. 33 and 41 are the most popular today, but the others are still unique and interesting in their own rite. Açaí Berry Gelato is the #49 cut, and it’s certainly earned its name. Of all the original cuts, it’s probably the least gassy but definitely the most crushed berry forward and flavor coating fruity.

Blue Hawaiian - Terpy Dabber house Tier 1
Trying award winning hash is always a pleasure, but trying award winning jam diamonds from a brand from Massachusetts, the debut for that state in any of my reviews, has got to be one of the biggest ESPN stat moments I’m publishing yet. Another one from the ADHDDEAD 420 celebrations, Cranberry Z is one that I’ve tried in hyrids a couple of times but this I think is also the first time I’ve tried it on its own.

Gas Face - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation
You may be reading this and thinking “dang there have been a lot of Shmu menu items on review lately” but the reason for that is because value for money especially at the oz rate, the listings are super competitive and there’s a great variety. Gas Face is a great example of this. The nugs presented are massive and swollen just the way I appreciate, but what really got me is the flavor.
