Cranberry Z - Michelin Terps
Trying award winning hash is always a pleasure, but trying award winning jam diamonds from a brand from Massachusetts, the debut for that state in any of my reviews, has got to be one of the biggest ESPN stat moments I’m publishing yet. Another one from the ADHDDEAD 420 celebrations, Cranberry Z is one that I’ve tried in hyrids a couple of times but this I think is also the first time I’ve tried it on its own. It’s a hybrid of Mr C. Seeds’ Cranberry x Zkittlez and it’s basically candy Ocean Spray with a lot more punch than normal Z. This also came as a diamond jam consistency, which I also have only tried a couple of times before. Diamonds from solventless are typically made through a heating technique followed by mechanical separation, and Cran Z was mostly diamonds. The experience reminded me a lot of some of the live resin I used to smoke back in the height of my BHO fiendery, but the flavor is much more refined. You’re not getting any of that limonene forward narrow spectrum flavor here, as the tropical fruit and distinctive layers of gas shine through. The potency was formidable and hit me with a laser onset eyes-open focus effect with a quite long duration. It’s hard to say how the jam consistency affected how hard the rosin hit, but the flavors were a bit deeper and hit on the broader parts of the palate than the zing I’ve come to expect from Z hybrids. Overall, I’ve been wanting to try something from Michelin Terps for a while and I think Cranberry Z is a compelling offering that made a great impression on me. The diamond jam consistency is a bit of a gimmick but not one that costs the consumer extra or sacrifices quality.
