Zangria x Gelonade - Trichomies
I got to try the Zangria x Gelonade hybrid the first time about a year and a half ago as Fruit Stand from B’s Trees, but this is the first time I’ve gotten to try it as rosin thanks to Beast Coast Terps out of Queens. There are two versions of this cross, the Fiya Farmer Fruit Stand and the Wizard Trees version, which is called Limelight. I’ve always appreciated that this hybrid had killer potency and a complex effects and together with a killer lemon grease flavor makes for something that ought to be center ring for a while. Normally I don’t really comment on the jar rosin comes in, but this one arrived in a different type of jar that I’ve only seen once before and it has a spinner cap built in. Normally I prefer to dab either with a slurper style banger or with a bubble cap, but I had to try with the tech the jar intended. The function of these jars is impressive, but more importantly as an accessibility matter, it’s a quarter-turn jar that’s not impossible to open and it’s a good 1g size jar, which is important for the Maine market. The effects hit like a truck on the onset after spinning this dab into my lungs, and the vibe is slow-paced, chill and almost unfunctional in the vibe. Overall, Zangria x Gelonade is a great offering from Trichomies, and an excellent rendition of this genetic. Beast Coast Terps regularly finds hidden gems that not only fit great with his menu but are world class offerings you truly have to see to believe.
