Apples & Bananas x Zoap - Topshelf Network
I actually didn’t originally find Top Shelf Network, they found me, and originally for a design project. Top Shelf Network is based in New Jersey, but I got to meet them in person in Washington Square park for 420. They let me choose between either Apples & Bananas x Zoap and Chem 91 x GMO from their in-house cultivation, and if you’ve been reading reviews since before the website, you remember how many rounds I’ve gone with this strain and it’s hybrids. Apple Banana Zoap was originally released as seeds by LIT Farms. In 2025, both of these genetics are out of vogue, but Top Shelf Network certainly found a great selection of this hybrid for their operation. It’s got a bit of the Flintstones’ vitamin terp you’re used to from Apples & Bananas but there’s also a good bit of Tide Pod and sherb bite in the flavor as well. The flower presents well, which you can see clearly from the social media posts, and is a genuinely solid selection, but the one knock I have is that it was pretty dry even on arrival. It still tasted and smoked adequate, but dry and cure is really what separates cool weed and great weed. Overall, Top Shelf’s Apples & Bananas x Zoap was worth checking out and I really want to see something more dialed in from them in the future.
