MurdaBand - Misty’s Melts
Of all the things I’ve been hype to smoke so far this year, MurdaBand is at the top of my list, or at least it was until I tried it. MurdaBand is a hybrid of MattaBand x Sowahh bred by Flavor Farming and has been blown up by everyone in the Flavor Farming squad, including this prime spec rosin from Misty’s Melts. Ever since I smelled the flower for the first time in December, I was in love with the way it burned my nostrils, which is what I appreciate from any Sour line strain. Some are calling this the 2025 version of Sour Diesel, and I don’t think that’s far off. The flavor is more of the Karma lemon petrol without that must note you get from the heirloom cuts. The flavor stains the palate with sour and kush and leaves a wild halitosis on the end of the flavor that lasts over an hour. Immediately on inhale, you get a noticeable head change and it’s uplifting and relaxing that you feel all over the body especially in the eyes and behind your forehead. The potency is impressive, but you notice it more on the comedown when you wonder why your body weighs 30 lbs more. Overall, MurdaBand met and exceeded my hype for it. Some folks who work on the Flavor Squad say this is basically all they smoke, and I’d do the same thing if I could. It’s a world class effort from the Flavor Farming team, especially on the paddle and press from Misty’s, and it’s one of the easiest things I’ve been able to recommend this year.
