Black Ya Hemi - Grandiflora Genetics
I’ve only gotten to try Grandiflora’s work from their California partners once or twice, but Black Ya Hemi hit the radar and I was immediately interested. I’ve used Grandiflora as the butt of some bagseed jokes over the years, but at this point Project 4516 has earned its spot as a west coast staple.

Meduza - Hall of Flame
Hall of Flame podiumed for Zours at Zalyumpix 2025 and also placed third in the Rookie of the Year category in the Billy’s last month. The sample arrived securely from Clubhouse Drops a little bit beat up, which is known to happen when flower goes coast to coast, but after smoking it myself it’s clear why this made rank.

6 Seed Lines to Consider for Your Next Grow
These six seed lines are from a variety of breeders who have each done much work to make the line happen, and each of them has their own signature flare. These lines all check many boxes, including solid table weight and reasonable yield to hash if that’s where your enthusiasm takes you. Ultimately, any one of those choices should help growers get through their first few harvests without sacrificing undeniable quality as both flower and water hash.

Lemon Tree x Nigerian Haze - Honeylog Caregivers
Normally Lemon Tree x Nigerian Haze is not a strain I would spring for, but knowing Honeylog’s quality control I knew I couldn’t just write it off as some mids from the dep field. Generally I avoid Lemon Tree hybrids because they have a really pissy aftertaste and a heavy crash on the end of it, but I don’t find either of these things in the hybrid, despite the overwhelming Lemon Tree expression in the aroma.

Skullcandy - Turkey Bag Tom
Turkey Bag Tom has impressed often in the past in his searches of large northern California facilities, surfacing hidden gems the often have overstock or get overlooked. In the past, he especially impressed me with his Cherry Moonshine and his curation of Tea Time and he’s also managed to find some of the best value crops of OG in NorCal. A lot of this stuff has shown up on other menus with other names, namely Don Merfos and Wizard Trees, and I suspect Skullcandy is the same deal.

Papaya Marshmallow - Honeylog Caregivers
Going into this review, I didn’t know much about this offering, but I’ve been following Honeylog Caregivers' for years now and I’ve become very familiar with the type of pressure they purvey. So I decided to take a new approach to this and take the brand new offering at face value with little expectations.

Cherry Pomelo - Nebula Gardenz
If this sample is a prime example of the rest of their lineup, then we have a serious situation. Cherry Pomelo seems to be a cut of Cherry Biscotti, which if I remember correctly is LCG x Biscotti, and boy does this stuff stink.

Blue Hawaiian - Terpy Dabber house Tier 1
Trying award winning hash is always a pleasure, but trying award winning jam diamonds from a brand from Massachusetts, the debut for that state in any of my reviews, has got to be one of the biggest ESPN stat moments I’m publishing yet. Another one from the ADHDDEAD 420 celebrations, Cranberry Z is one that I’ve tried in hyrids a couple of times but this I think is also the first time I’ve tried it on its own.

POG Juice - Blueprint
POG Juice is a new addition to the Blueprint lineup, and this one really brings forth the vibe you see on the jar. It’s got the tropical fruit punch type of terps you expect seeing an American Traditional sunset on the jar, and it’s no slouch in the effects department either.

Brides Maid - Moon Valley Cannabis
first heard of Moon Valley from Loadin’ Buckets, who mentioned the brand had some really cool stuff, and he was not wrong. They delivered some really impressive living soil hash, from novel genetics and I’m glad I got to try this flavor specifically off terpy dabber’s menu. Brides Maid is a hybrid of Wedding Crasher x Ninetails cut Hindu Kush, which brings together old school and modern terps in a very tasteful way.

NL2 x Haze - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation
Shmu reached out to me a couple weeks ago asking if he thought this batch of a 12 week flowering NL2 x Haze was worth putting on the menu. knowing Shmu’s customer base, this was an easy yes, but trying it myself it’s exceeded expectations.

A Brief History of Runtz
Runtz really started in 2017, when according to Ray Bama, they transformed the gem they found from the facility to the top dog diamond with the brand as iconic as Tiffany’s, thanks to a bit of special help from Sticker Farmer. Once Yung LB and Ray Bama made it to the Emerald Cup with their Wonka flip design, Berner took the Runtz brand under his wing, the name became synonymous with “exotic” and the rest was history.

Biscotti x GDP - Blueprint
I’ve been smoking on this Biscotti x GDP from Blueprint for a couple weeks now, and the more I smoke it the more it grows on me. It reminds me a lot of the Purple Dino I’ve had from Blueprint in the past but there’s some new stuff going here

White Wookies- Tornado Terpz (Copy)
When I opened the jar I immediately clocked how glistening the trichs are. White Wookies is much more effect forward, but the scent is still gassy cookie with a note of the “white” terp over the top of it that’s sort of like a metallic white Airheads bar.

GG4 x Cookies - Blueprint
I’ve been a fan of Glue since before I started smoking as many strains a year as I do now, and it’s one of the most exciting things for my tastebuds. The last time I had a Glue cross from TJT, I was frankly quite disappointed, that being the Biscotti x GG x Oreoz on the Doja menu which later became Blueprint’s P90. But this hybrid smokes like a dream and I went through it way more quickly than I’d like to admit.

Permanent Zangria - Wizard Trees
This sample is a hybrid between Seed Junky’s Permanent Market and the afformentioned Zangria, which translates to a crushed wine grape quality with the sharpie bite and saturation in the aroma and flavor. It arrived pretty fresh which translates to a good bit of smoothness. The effects are a fairly familiar slumpy heady pressure with solid potency.

Cereal Milk evolution: How Cookies has milked its marketing potential
Cookies has a lot of strains that we consider to be icons even in today’s hyper marketed cannabis world, but possibly the unsung hero of the whole brand is Cereal Milk. It was one of the first strains that was released under the iteration of the brand as we know how it operates today, but it’s also selected with some fairly old school philosophy. Since then, they’ve brought the best toget and ran it back again and again for Cereal A La Mode and Cinnamon Milk.

Peaches - Blueprint
Over the last few years I’ve smoked a handful of strains from Blueprint or that have been on the Blueprint lineup but from other brands. Peaches was one of the strains at their Zalympix booth last weekend that is pretty new in the lineup, and this is the first time I’ve seen it on any of the local menus.

Seabiscuit - Gotti x Deep East Oakland
The last time I smoked Deep East was two or three years ago and I was not impressed due to how unclean the smoke was. So far, everything I’ve smoked from Gotti has been of great quality and super smooth smoke, and this is not exception.

Zushi - DC Source house curation
With all the talk about Zushi as the TenCo marketing phenomenon over the years, I’ve only gotten to try the original Z x Kush Mints that was named Zushi a couple of times. This is bred by Seed Junky, who may be the most prolific breeder of the recent era in terms of the strains he’s created that show up on retail shelves.
