6 Seed Lines to Consider for Your Next Grow

It’s tough to predict what’s going to be trending a year or two years from now, but it certainly becomes easier when a breeder of a particular successful line makes hybrids with that cut. While I’ve only been growing for about five years now, I’ve recognized that some seeds and lines are easier for beginners to grow, but also that the ones that are easy to grow for beginners also maintain a high quality ceiling for experts and professionals. These six seed lines are from a variety of breeders who have each done much work to make the line happen, and each of them has their own signature flare. These lines all check many boxes, including solid table weight and reasonable yield to hash if that’s where your enthusiasm takes you. Ultimately, any one of those choices should help growers get through their first few harvests without sacrificing undeniable quality as both flower and water hash.
Starburst x TMZ processed by Lulu Melts
TMZ line - Bloom Seed Co.
Bloom Seed Co and their Too Much Zkittlez line is kind of an obvious choice but in my opinion still deserves being spoken about. Almost all of Bloom’s stock is relatively easy to grow from seed but the average internet enthusiast has access to the same clones as world class hash brands. With the TMZ line, Harry Palms and the team crossed TMZ to a range of elite clones and previous work with highlights being crosses of Starburst OG and Orange Mints. If you want to go even further down the Z rabbit hole, they also have World War Z, which is a cross back to Zkittlez, and if you’re a big Bloom fan, they have the TMZ crossed to other of their hybrids. If you’re a Z lover and you want a relatively easier experience growing those terps and have much better hash numbers, the TMZ line is the premier choice. You can get these seeds from Bloom’s website, but if you want the best benefits, an investment into a lifetime subscription to Solventless Syndicate is in order.

Spritzer line - NYCeeds
NYCeeds has been a jet setter, trend maker and one man band for his Spritzer line, and I don’t think I’ve seen more dedication to getting hybrids to become mainstream from any one person before. The first time I tried the Spritzer hybrids was from a community member in the DC area who grew testers of Z x Spitzer and Kush Mints x Spritzer, which is now called Queens Zugar Cookie and is on the 710 Labs menu. The Spritzer cut is already some strong wine grape flavor, but the hybrids all have their own complex notes and leans that are special in their own rite and all basically caked in resin. The highlights of this line seem to be Z-Unit and Z. Honda which both make excellent hash with killer Z and kush flavors. The easiest way to get these seeds is to reach out to NYCeeds directly but they’re also available from Terpy Seedbank, Neptune and Seed Bank International.

Terptastic Line - Nectar Beans/GhostDog
Nectar Beans is a rising star in the internet niches, but his Terptastic line is definitely worth looking into especially if you like old school flavors but still want something that washes. Terptastic itself is a hybrid of Terple x Secret Cheese, which gives it tons of halitosis under fruit and fragrance. The highlights of this line seem to be the Swampwater Fumez hybrid (Purple Pond Vapor) done for Crab Collective and the Grape Gas Bx1 hybrid (Grape Chateau), which add lots of deep flavor, resin and purple hues to the already stunning Terptastic nugs. Grape Chateau is also about to be hit for an F2 generation, and I’m personally most excited for that. The easiest way to get seeds is from Nectar Beans’ and you can find the collaborations with Crab Collective on their site.

Lychee line - Little Lake Valley Seed Co
Little Lake Valley Seed Co. out of California has been making some of the most flavorful crosses I’ve had the pleasure of tasting over the last couple years, and Lychee line is the pinnacle of their flavor chasing journey. My personal favorite is Grape Soft Serve, but all of them have a super stinky sour strawberry terp that just permeates the palate in the perfect way. Hash heads have options like the Papaya Bx1 hybrid (Swollest Heads) and the Fresh Pressed cross (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐). While Little Lake Valley’s options don’t cover a big breadth of traits, the ones that they do cover are from more worked lines and more distinctive flavors. I have some Zlipperz in my seed vault that I’m excited to run and I think anyone looking for really flavor forward well worked lines will be happy shopping here.
Riptide Rush, Bissel Cut, produced and processed by Flavor Farming
Pie Eyed line - Crystal Rose Seed Co.
If you’ve been on the east coast the last few years, this is an obvious choice, but for whatever reason Pie Eyes has not made it too far west yet. The grape terps are similar to other Grape Pie hybrids, but the extra kerosene gas and melty potency in my opinion makes this line a whole different beast. Highlights of these hybrids seem to be the Watermelon Zkittles hybrid (Watermelon Otai) and the Grape Pie Wedding Crasher hybrid (Riptide Rush) as well as the Pie Dough Bx1 that was used for a future line. These nugs are some of the most resinous I’ve seen to date, and the kerosene note is especially loud both as flower and hash. These seeds are easiest to get by meeting Crystal Rose in person at events, but the seeds are also available through Brown Bag Seeds and Neptune Seedbank .

Moroccan Peaches Line - Purple City Genetics
Wholesalers will tell you they’re tired of Moroccan Peaches by now, but there’s no denying it’s a proper genetic, which is why Purple City Genetics has furthered the work with that strain. If you look at their El Krem selections for 2025, the name for their especially impressive washers, about half of them are Moroccan Peaches hybrids, which tracks after the last couple of years where almost every hash processor had it on their menu. Even though the strain is called “peaches” the genetics have a lot of citrus and Sour coverage, and it’s one of the only widely used strains with these flavor profiles. Highlights of this line seem to be the Canal Street Runtz hybrid (Marakkesh) and the Street Guru hybrid (Saffron), and Purple City tends to share a lot of data about their hybrids on their site and socials. Purple City Genetics can be a bit tough to find online, but they usually post updates about where drops are landing on their X page.
