Wedding Pie - Living Matter

Wedding Pie is something of a staple amongst Maine cultivators, and there are few who do it on this level. Heads from the western side of the country may be trired of this strain from the inundation of hash and flower coming from the Pyxy Styx cut. The Wedding Pie cut is generally attributed to Living Matter as the keeper of the flame, and at this point the cut has propagated quite far. The first thing you notice when you crack a jar of either the flower or the hash is that it’s one of the most pungent and astringent aromas on the market despite not really being a Sour or an OG, which we expect to be quite loud. The scent is wine grapes and kerosene sweetness and it permeates the nostrils not unlike the way some really strong flavors stain the palate. And then regarding the flavor, the same notes hits the palate as an exploded fountain pen leaking in your front pocket. Calling it “terpy” is an understatement, and for me it’s a celebration on my tastebuds. I’ve enjoyed the way Wedding Pie hits in the past, but this batch is particularly strong, in expression, lung expansion and effects. Immediately the muscle relaxing and heavy face melt effects start to kick in and you should expect the potency to crush you even if you’re a seasoned smoker. Overall, whether it be the new facility, the act of re-blowing up the cut, or just an extraordinarily outstanding batch, Living Matter’s Wedding Pie meets the mark in stellar fashion and strong return to form.
