Crunch Berries - Pleasant Effects
Long time readers of this series know that I’ve been a big fan of Pleasant Effects for a few years now and that I was the first person in the world to review Crunch Berries about a year ago when it debuted. There was a good long while where we were seeing tons of brands basically sitting at the starting line with their cuts they got from Fiya Farmer waiting for him to lab with the pace car, and of course Pleasant Effects was one of them. Historically, Pleasant Effects has amassed an extraordinary variety of elite clone-only genetics and grown them to near peak quality. With Crunch Berries, you can tell the second you crack the jar that the captain is speaking now. The aroma is dead on with the eponymous cereal, but with an extra tinge of menthol in the back. The last time I tried Crunch Berries, my one nitpick with the experience was that the flavor had a bit of extra menthol compared to the smell, and this more complex production gives those traits some parity. The flavor on this version reminds me a lot of eating a bowl of the cereal with the aforementioned menthol note on the back end. Effects set on immediately for a clear eye droop and a lot of body relaxation. It’s also reasonably euphoric with no real distracting quality and all-around punches really hard. Overall, Crunch Berries from Pleasant Effects is a total stunner. It’s a high ticket but you get high performance, as well as some fire art for your patronage. From top to bottom it exceeds expectations and remains smoke to truly savor.
