Zoap - Pleasant Effects
It’s been a good long while since I’ve had a batch of Zoap that was worth anything, so naturally my hype for another batch from Pleasant Effects was through the roof. Many previous batches of their Zoap had been specifically siloed off for the Fear and Zoaping drops with The Book Club, so it was an extra treat to get some down in my local market. When I first got it, I made quite the lofty claim that it was the best Zoap in the world, which may be a bit lofty, but this is easily the best Zoap I’ve smoked in years. A lot of people like to talk about the batches from 2019-2021 that were described as terp flavored air, and in my opinion, this is better than any Zoap I smoked back then. The hybrid is (RS16 x Pink Guava OZK) and the combination of Sherb, OG and Z make the scent like Slurpee fumes and flavor like a Hi Chew candy. The RS11 line is what I would consider candy strains, but more of a citrus sour candy rather than the candy funk you find on Gelato line. The aroma is as loud as the flavor is mouth coating, and it will have you smacking your lips. This sample is also disgustingly potent, very heavy on the eyes but also more functional than a similarly potent Gelato hybrid. You can use this as a sleep aid, but you can also just unwind on it too. Overall, Zoap from Pleasant Effects is a stellar offering, that both new and seasoned Zoap fans will enjoy. The flavors take you to Terp City and really take you out on the proverbial town.
