Blue Zushi - Untouchable Genetics

There’s been a lot of talk on the weed net about who has the real Blue Zushi and who got fake cuts, and while I’m sure there are tons of fake cuts out there, this one from Untouchable Genetics is not one of them. This is not only the real deal, but it’s frankly the strongest version of this strain I’ve had in years. Back until about 2022, there was a reasonable argument that the TenCo version at market high prices was worth the hype because at the time they were the only ones who could do this strain justice. While Untouchable Genetics is one of many finally doing the job right, as soon as you open the jar you know that this is really on that Sugarfish type beat. The nugs are fresh, the aroma just screams out of the jar and the freshness is on point. The nugs may be quite dense and have the Z look to it, but you’re absolutely not getting the crushed-by-the-bag look you would get from a die cut mylar. Grinding the nugs up, you get a smooth moonsand in the grinder, and the signature skittle nigiri flavor strikes immediately. The genetics on the jar say Zkittlez x Kush Mints, but the genetics are more disputed than that. The flavor and the effect for sure reflect the Z in the lineage but there’s also a lot more gas which translates to a heavy effect. For my body chemistry, it’s more relaxation and eye-droop than focus like I usually get from Z, but still had the mood lifting vibe as well. I’m personally a big Blue Zushi fan, but I think any smoker that appreciates modern flavors will be able to see the game in this production. Overall, Untouchable Genetics truly killed it with this Blue Zushi. All of the sensory traits are on point and it smokes great in general. In my Red Runtz review I mentioned that I expected more than “good” for the money, and Blue Zushi meets and exceeds the mark with an exceptional version of this strain.
