Cherry Bomb - Puff Tuff
Another day with another new brand, this time Puff Tuff is on the chopping block with their Cherry Bomb. It’s a Cherry Pie hybrid with a ton of kerosene flavor to it, and I would say it’s a very strong note to start on. This brand launched to support a facility in Maine, out of which I’ve actually smoked a lot of their products. Cherry Bomb was in the debut lineup for Puff Tuff and anyone that’s been smoking it is in for a serious treat. They’ve specifically requested the official genetics be kept secret, but many folks who’ve smoked flowers from the bigger and more popular maine producers will probably recognize it. The nose on this is cherry forward but with a good bit of floral gas and behind it, and also incredibly pungent. You’ll notice some great resin behind the nose, which makes it really loud in the grinder. The flavor and the aroma are nearly identical, and that’s one of the biggest reasons I’ve enjoyed smoking it. Another reason is the effects. The onset from the cherry soda inhale is impossible to miss, and the potency just keeps raising. If you’re a seasoned smoker, you’ll love how it all comes together and sticks the landing. Overall, Cherry Bomb is an excellent debut from Puff Tuff. It not only holds up with some of Maine’s elite flavor but smokes incredible on its own merits.
