Chem DD - Tread Lightly Collective

I reviewed Chem D from Skunkfoot Farms a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the classic one note Chem, but there are tons of other Chem hybrids out there that are more complex in many traits and Chem DD (“double D”) is one of those. Chem DD is Top Dawg Seeds’ take on adding more complexity to the Chemdog line, and succeeds with its lime juice flavor and a much heavier body effects. The hybrid is (Chem D x Chem D/I95) which makes it a Chem back cross. Of course, Tread crushed it on the cultivation side, providing fresh gorgeous nugs caked in resin. From his work, the normal intense relaxation is augmented with weighty stimulus around the eyes, in classic Headband fashion. The meaty funk also has much more lime a gas behind it, which gives the flavor much more complexity. Potency is impressive but the crash is pretty harsh on this one. Overall, this sample of Chem DD from Tread clearly has as much love and effort behind it as the other samples from his stable. He feels Chem DD isn’t as special as the newer Pink Paloma and Blue Zangria he found, and I agree. The smoke and flavor are solid, but this one is truly for Chem lovers rather than the broader appeal the other two have.
