Kushibara - John Doe Supply Co.

Terpy Dabber was insistent that I tried the new John Doe Supply Co, and hit me with a sample of their Kushibara, which we haven’t gotten the genetics on yet. Like the Kamikaze, it follows a sort of Japanese heritage inspired design and is a Z cut and/or hybrid. The nugs are just caked in resin, and while they’re not huge, they’re much prettier than a lot of Z tends to be. The nose is the classic Z lime rinds, but with a lot more confectionary sweetness and some astringency. The flavor is more of the same but with extreme saturation. If you got to try Giraffe Puzzy #1 from Doja, also known as Malibu by Seed Junky, this reminds me a lot of that, being very saturated on the flavor but also trampling all over your day in a stampede. The potency on this one is truly elite and should quiet all the folks that are dying for Z flavor with extreme power. Overall, Kushibara is a great offering. You can probably find similar offerings for cheaper, but this is great smoke for a not comical price. The freshness, saturation of flavor and level of potency is what I’m looking for from this type of smoke and it’s certainly a hit from the Mafia.
