Chem D - Skunkfoot Farms

I’ve gone on record many times saying Chem D is my favorite of the Chemdog line, and it’s batches like this from Skunkfoot that confirm my bias time and time again. A lot of folks might pass up Chem D and its siblings because the whole offering is pretty one note, but I think a lot of folks forget that Chem D is the original one note genetic and in my opinion it does that trope best. Skunkfoot Farms grew this version in their living soil setup, and to me the biggest effect of this is that the aroma has those terroir undertones to make it a diesel funk that burns your nostrils. The flavor and the scent are perfectly analogous even down to the duration of the astringency and lingering halitosis. The flavor of Chem D stands in the upper echelon of saturation even compared to modern genetics, and it positively stains the palate. The big reason I love Chem D is because I think the pure relaxation effect, which in terms of this particular trait is second to none. It’s got no panic nor edge, and it’s smack dab in the middle of the energizing-to-sedative effect scale. The potency is also impressive but you drift out of it slowly and there’s no hard crash. Overall, Skunkfoot’s Chem D is a Maine classic, and it’s something I think is a must try for serious cannabis enthusiasts. This particular batch is an incredible smoke and not something to miss.
