Runtz - Funk House Farm
If you’ve been reading my reviews for a while, since back in the Gentleman Toker days, you know I’ve smoked a LOT of Runtz. Maybe too much Runtz. So it’s safe to say that when a good Runtz passes by my docket, I know what’s up, and lo and behold, this is that guy. Funk House has impressed me with nearly ever sample I’ve gotten from them in the last couple years, and this Runtz might be the one that’s impressed furthest past my expectations. Runtz is possibly the most highly debated genetic in the industry, but it’s thought to be a Gelato 33 bagseed with some especially tart flavors., and I think this is best evidenced by the deep purple innards. The scent is textbook candy funk that fills my nostrils with nostalgia. The flavor is slightly more complex, with a little bit more nuttiness hitting the back of the palate. Effects wise, it’s very predictable, but exactly the type of slump I’m looking for from Runtz. The potency is impressive but distracting, and exactly the type of chill I want from Runtz. Overall, it’s clear this is high quality Runtz even from the resin on the nugs. The flavors, effect and outright potency are purely excellent and if you’ve never tried Runtz, this is the one to try. This option from Funk House is also of excellent value and crushes other candies at this price point from California. Easy recommendation from me.
