Pineapple Maraschino - Misty’s Melts
It’s no secret I’ve been enjoying any Misty’s Melts flavors I can get my hands on, and I don’t think any have surpassed my expectations as much as Pineapple Maraschino. While I have my speculations on what the hybrid might be, the parentage is unknown, and this is now the second time in the last year Flavor Farming has absolutely wowed me with bagseed genetics, the last time being the Leslie Chow, but this is one you really have to taste to understand fully. The scent is Dole pineapple pureé over maraschino cherry sauce with hints of that halls cough drop mentholated spice. This sample I have for review is the cured melt version, essentially piatella tech, but I also got to see and smoke the rosin version and both have an extra layer of sour as a lingering halitosis. The rosin version has a bit more of the laser onset for the potency, but the cured melt is a bit more clear headed in the onset and is also a bit creepier in the effect. The potency on both is impressive and intense with crushing melty body feelings and super distracting head changes. The cold cure melt also performed well on the banger with very little residue at middle temperatures and said residue was easy to clean off the banger in the dunk. Even though I haven’t tried cold cure melt a ton of times, this is the cleanest on banger I’ve seen to date, so if you’ve never tried it, this is a great place to start. Overall, Pineapple Maraschino is again lightning in a bottle from the Flavor Farming team with incredible work by Misty on the paddle. This hash is clean and super tasty, and I’m for sure going to miss it when I run out.
