Wrank - Gobshop
Every time Gobs comes to town, he surprises me with some dank flowers from his homegrow, or in this case, Wrank. The one other time he brought Ethos Genetics flowers, I was impressed with the expressions, despite my general lack of faith in their seeds, and he’s done it again with his selection of Wrank. The hybrid is (Strawberry OG Cookies x End Game) F2 which is a whole cornucopia of genetic lines. The nose is just totally skunky with hints of fruit and diesel, but recombobulates in the flavor once the sugar leaves are removed and nugs ground up. On the palate it’s totally Bruce Banner dominant with notes of strawberry sour patch and two-cycle fuel withg a delightful sweet halitosis. The cornerstone feature of this strain would obviously be the effects and overall body feel. It’s a reasonably good vibe in the with a floaty stimulation, but the punch and potency outright are what really make this strain special. The duration is longer than most other strains I’ve tried this year and it left my eyes firetruck red. However, the dry eyed effect also translates to a pretty hard crash, so I’d recommend getting some coffee with this strain or using it to take a nap. Overall, Wrank is some really impressive smoke. It’s hard to say whether this is due to the soil configuration Gobs uses or just straight up elbow grease, but this is something I could smoke again and again and another incredible effort from Gobs.
