LemonZZZ - Dorsia
Over the last year or so I’ve kind of fallen out of love with lemon terps but LemonZZZ from Dorsia was a nice reprieve from some of these boring samples. Normally I’m not a fan of the sort of one note pissy citrus flavor from most Lemon Tree hybrids that usually comes with a super racy effects. The hybrid on this strain is (Lemon Tree x OZK), which brings with it a bit more complexity in the flavor and effect. In the nose, the citrus skunk definitely dominates the profile, but the flavor leans more gassy and has an extra note of grease on the back end. It’s also got a great mouth coat, but it doesn’t make your mouth taste like you just ate a Lemonheads candy. The effect is still quite buzzy and energizing but the edge is kinda taken off by the extra OG and the Z notes give it a bit more of a focus trait as well, which makes it a great daytime smoke. The potency outright is pretty strong and the duration is reasonably long, but I think this one might be a bit body chemistry dependent. Overall, LemonZZZ is a pretty strong lemon sample from Dorsia but it sits on a menu that has historically had a sea of great lemon flavors. Even this one being in the middle of that pack is a better standing than most lemon terps out there but if you missed it, you can be sure Dorsia has something even more hype right around the corner.
