Cap Junky - Living Matter

It’s no secret that I have absolutely no love for Cap Junky, but Living Matter has always really impressed me with their products the few times I’ve tried them. A mutual friend told me the batches of Cap Junky and Wedding Pie were truly on another level this round after moving to a new facility. Wrapped in a dense supremely resinous dank kush package, this version of Cap Junky is one that I’m glad I didn’t miss. It’s a hybrid of Alien Cookies x Kush Mints, bred as a collaboration between Capulator and Seed Junky, and it’s become a phenomenon in a lot of cultivator circles because it has both high table weights and good wash numbers. Pair that with exceptional potency and excellent eye appeal, and of course most smokers will flip out about it. The nose on this strain I feel is like confectionary notes over dank basement terps, which would signal underdrying in almost any other strain. When it’s blended up, the neon green moon sand just reeks of kerosene and dankness in a combination that registers similar to a lot of gassy grape strains. The flavor notes are more of the same, with incredible saturation and halitosis. This all matched with impressive eye droopy, slumpy potency really makes this sample a jack of all trades. Overall, Cap Junky from Living Matter is nothing short of excellent. While a lot of people doubt Living Matter for consistency reasons, especially with how their strains sometimes perform in a joint, this particular batch is a can’t-miss even if you don’t even particularly like the strain normally. The quality is undeniable.
