TenCo, has been up to quite a wide range of flavors as of late, many of them varieties that have yet to be released by any brand. Oishii isn’t one of those, it’s a collab with Archive Seeds, but it certainly surfs the Z wave TenCo. has made their name off. Frankly, I’ve been really hard on TenCo lately because their flavors simply don’t live up to the brand name. If you claim to have a 10/10 experience at a 10/10 price, it better be consistently fantastic, and sometimes it feels like I’m dealing with EightCo. or SixCo. Oishii unfortunately didn’t hit that prime experience TenCo. advertises, but it’s closer than a few other things recently that haven’t made it to publication. Terpy Dabber assured me that the nugs were bigger and had better eye appeal than what he gave me, which is understandable because TenCo. is a hot commodity. The hybrid is (Flavor Pack x Moonbow 112) and the nose and the flavor are pretty solid, being a standard Z note with a lot more confectionary sweetness on it. Compared to Zsunami, another strain bred by Archive with similar genetics, Oishii is more strawberry sweet compared to Zsunami’s lime zing. The smoke is quite smooth and the effects are also super relaxing and easy with most of the potency going towards muscle relaxation rather than head change. Overall, Oishii performs well and TenCo is one of the only brands who’ve blown up this particular cut, but the price is hard to justify compared to Maine rising stars that perform just as well at roughly half the price. TenCo.’s version of Oishii has some obvious potential and I’d love to try another batch from the down the road, but as much as I’d love a batch dialed to 11, I’ve not seen a batch in a while that was even dialed to 10.
